Prahok is a weblog I started as a present for myself for my 45th birthday. The name I came up with, may sound very weird, but people who know about Cambodia, will recognise it as the name of a famous ingredient in Cambodian cuisine. If you want to find out more about it, look at this page.
In the coming days, months and hopefully at least another 45 years to come, I will try to put my feelings and thoughts into words on this website.
This website will be mainly focused on Cambodia. As a Belgian, I feel a strong affection for this country and the people that live there. But many Cambodians do not live in their country of origin any more. One of them has become my wife and next year, it will be our 20th wedding anniversary (cheers).
